Stichting Wireless Leiden

We published on this site before that Wireless Leiden is in the middle of a large operation to upgrade the "backbone" of the network. Last Saturday (May 1, 2010) our node CeTIM (Hooglandse Kerk) was under reconstruction the whole day. The work in the tower of this church did not go as fast as we expected, due to unforeseen extra construction problems. Therefore the job could not be completed before the church had to be closed. Node CeTIM is therefore temporarily out of the air now. We do what we can to restrict this period of non-activity, but we have to reckon with another week of non-activity of the node at least. We apologize for any inconvenience. We trust, however, that the node will perform considerably better in the new configuration.
