Tim Baas, final year student at Hogeschool Leiden has started comparative test of commercially available 'wireless-ethernet-bridges'. This type of equipment will be used by Wireless Leiden in a new configuration of the network. This will allow higher bandwith and more reliabel connections.

The 'July' news letter of the FreeDiscovery project has been published (in Dutch).

The FreeDiscovery- april news letter has been published (in Dutch), with the subjects:

•  Rijnland project (internett in homes for the elderly in Leiderdorp and Alphen)
